The Mummy MOT is a specialist postnatal assessment recommended for all mums after a C-section or vaginal delivery – from six weeks postpartum.
Trained specialists assess the strength and function of the stomach and pelvic floor muscles to help prevent long-term childbirth-related problems such as prolapse, incontinence, pain sitting, pain during intercourse, and difficulty emptying the bladder.
The Mummy MOT includes an in-depth check of the pelvic floor and tummy gap and a bespoke postnatal recovery programme devised especially for the mum and their lifestyle and fitness goals. This includes specific and safe postnatal exercises to improve stability, posture and core strength.
The Mummy MOT is also offering online consultations for mums who are unable or uneasy about travelling.
